Nice to meet you.

I am a photographer based in Amsterdam, with a background in anthropology and a 2025 graduate of the Fotoacademie. 

In my photography, I focus on the things that surround the subject - nails, shoes, laundry, dishes. It’s how I experience the world around me, and it’s how I invite viewers to step into the image. 

These everyday elements often tell a larger story, where a smaller aspect represents the whole and often tells more about the subject than the subject itself. By showing parts of the story and leaving other parts open I like to involve the viewer, as to make them see the image the way I see it. Here I want to leave room for the viewer to imagine and interpret for themselves. 

For me, photography is a way of showing how I experience my surroundings, and my way of connecting with the viewer and allowing them to see what I see in their own way.
